We work with private and corporate clients to facilitate the purchase of both historical and contemporary artwork. This may involve the purchase of a single artwork or building a significant collection over time. We provide extensive knowledge and expertise on artists and art market values. If you are new to collecting we will meet with you to discuss the process of starting an art collection and provide advice on artists suitable to your tastes, space requirements and budget. First and foremost it is important you love the artwork!

Ballard Fine Art will facilitate the sale or your artwork or collection. All sales are conducted with complete confidentiality. We will first meet with you to discuss the selling process. Generally we require name of the artist, images, title, date and size of the artwork to determine the fair market value of your artwork. Fair market value is based on comparable recent private and auction sales, if available. Importantly, we have clientele actively looking to purchase artworks.

Ballard Fine Art provides professional appraisals for your artwork. A professional art appraisal is required for insurance, property settlements, resale, charitable and museum donation purposes.
